Storyline

 Sophia(Britt Robertson) a college student living in North Carolina, while on a date with Luke(Scott Eastwood) a rodeo star, is not real sure where to go with it, cause she is moving to New York within two months, feeling it would not work out with him, even though she really finds herself falling for him, one night after there first date they discover a car wreck, and rescue a man that was in the wreck, and take him to the hospital. Sophia finds out the man name is Ira(Alan Alda), she also finds a box of letters to his late wife Ruth, and then his story begins to be told through the letters, Sophia soon starts to question her own decisions?

You know what to expect when you go to a movie based on a Nicholas Sparks novel, but I was entertained, Britt Robertson was great I believe there is an Oscar in her future. Scott Eastwood was good with what he was giving, he is almost getting out of the shadow of his famous father. But it's Alan Aldas performance that will bring you to tears, I was more into his story then Eastwood and Robertson. The flashback scenes I think where more watchable then the present scenes.
